Inscription on the bottom-side of a memory-stone from the 2nd half of the 2nd century BC.
It was found in Umm el Awamid in the southern part of Lebanon. Now present in Louvre, Paris.
Text: l b ‘ l y t n  b n  ‘ b d ḥ r  k h n  m l k ‘ š t r t
(memory stone) of Baalyaton, son of Abdhor, priest of Milkastart.

‘ b d ḥ r = abdhor = servant of Horus.

First literature: L.Heury, CRAI, Paris, 1902.
Le iscrizione fenicie dell'oriente, P.Magnanini , Roma 1973, instituto di studi del vicino
Oriente.
Magnanini makes use of hebrew signs in order to translate the Phoenician texts. It makes it a little more complicated, but it is still quite understandable.
